Flare provides Users with the ability to create Reports to help you analyze and understand the data collected by the platform. These reports can also help you aggregate, summarize and share information across your organization and with different stakeholders to highlight the value of Flare and the data it collects about different security events and risks.

Creating Reports

To create a report go to the Reports tab in the Navigation Bar -> click on ‘Reports’ -> ‘New report’ -> Give it a Title and click ‘Create’. The Report will generate and after a short period of time be available for viewing and downloading

Edit Reports

Generated Reports can be edited by clicking the edit button.

In the Edit Report view you can:

  1. Rename your report;
  2. Select the audience the report is intended for - This option sets the audience for AI generated sections. "Technical" uses specialized cybersecurity jargons better suited for Analysts, while "Executive" uses a more common vocabulary suited for all.
  3. Choose the table of contents for your report:
  • Summary - Include AI generated concise summary of the report information.
  • Graphs - Include specific graphs.
  • Actions - Include in your report actions recommended by Flare
  • Events - Include selected events in the report. Use the share icon to add specific events into the report.

You can add a specific event to your report by using the share icon in that event.

Report Contents

These reports provide insights into the threats and vulnerabilities detected by Flare. They may include information such as the types of threats, their severity, and their impact on your organization.

  • Executive Summary

A brief summary of key findings, threats, and recommendations. 

  • Exposure Graphs

Presents data regarding the security incidents that have been detected by Flare, as found on the Flare Dashboard. They provide details about the incidents, including the source, type, and risk level. 

  • Priority Actions

Actions that are recommended to reduce the risk of data leak impacting the organization. 

  • Activities

Presents data regarding the Events along with a Quick Summary, Details and Remediation Guidance to mitigate the risk associated with certain data leakages.

It's important to note that the availability and specifics of these reports may vary depending on the configuration and settings of your Flare instance. It's recommended to consult the Flare documentation or reach out to the Flare support team for more information on the specific reports available in your setup.
