--- title: Reports Migration FAQ slug: reports-migration-faq docTags: createdAt: 2025-09-30T17:36:38.189Z --- **Reports are being upgraded to V2.** Here are answers to common questions to help guide you through the transition. ## Adding Events ### Before - You had to manually add events to each report, which could be time-consuming for tenants with many events. ### After - The new report configuration wizard **automatically pulls in events based on the configuration you specify.** - You can still manually add events whenever you need more control. - These are now displayed as **Highlighted Events** and are added to the appropriate section when added. - **Highlighted Events** that fall outside of the configuration scope are automatically added to the Appendix. ## Export Options ### Before - Export options were limited, making it difficult to work with your data in other tools. ### After - **CSV** export is now included by default for all your event data, giving you flexibility to analyze and share information. - There's also a new ZIP option which automatically includes the **PDF**, **DOCX**, and **CSV**. ## Generating Reports ### Before - Reports could take considerable time to generate, even for smaller reports. ### After - Most reports now complete **within 2 minutes,** regardless of size. ## Report Formatting ### Before - Reports used a basic output that typically required significant reworking in DOCX before sharing. ### After - Reports use a new modern format that has been completely redesigned for readability. - Each **Event Category** Type has its **own appropriate metadata.** ****
